Microalgae play a crucial nutritional role for marine animals. Phytoplankton is the basis of the marine food chain. Most marine invertebrates depend on microalgae for their entire life cycle.

Due to their high productivity, microalgae represent a sustainable plant-based raw material to meet various nutritional requirements, offering high quality natural micronutrients.

In addition to the high level of protein, various minerals, vitamins and pigments, microalgae contain some of the most important fatty acids for animal nutrition applications; whether in aquaculture, agricultural production animals or pet food: Omega 3 and Omega 6.
Together with other natural compounds, these essential fatty acids play an important role in several metabolic routes.

Based on our technologies of fermentation and sunlight growth, we are able to produce microalgae that contain a high EPA and DHA value, among other fatty acids.

The remarkable diversity and pigment content that microalgae accumulate turns these microscopic organisms into powerful dyes, either as biomass or as extracts.

We have different species:

  • Tetraselmis chuii
  • Chlorella vulgaris (standard and organic)
  • Nannochloropsis oceanica
  • Phaeodactylum tricornutum
